How My Interview Discussion With Popular Master Of Ceremony (MC) In Nigeria “MC AYULAH”: Will Make You Focus On Your Passion And Talent

He is talented and will make your ceremony worth every penny, and time. He is intelligent, funny, and knows how to move the crowd. He is one of Nigeria’s sort after and demanding MC in town with a lot trending positive reviews. He is the CEO of Speaking Services Nigeria.

Guys help me welcome MC Ayulah!

1. Tell us a bit about your background, school, and Where are you from?

My name is Ayobami Yusuf popularly known as MC Ayulah. I am a native of Omu Aran in, Kwara State. My primary education was at Abdul Aziz Attah Memorial Nursery & Primary School Ilorin while I had my secondary education at Federal Government College, Ilorin. I proceeded to The Federal Polytecnic Bida, Niger state where I bagged a diploma certificate in Civil Engineering before proceeding to University of Ilorin where I bagged my first degree and Masters degree in Geology.

2. How was life growing up?

Growing up was absolute fun. A lot has changed now. We didn’t have 24hours television. Children played together on the streets. We had real friends both in school and at home. We listened to folklore stories. All I remember about growing up is all beautiful

3. At what age in your life did you decide you wanted to be an MC?

Ohh… I am barely 5 years in the industry. It was a decision I took a few years back while I was working as an engineer with one of the leading telecoms servicing company in Lagos. After five years with the company, I decided I wanted more. I needed to chase my passion and be more. So I started anchoring events while still on the job before I finally left.

Me: wow! That’s a big risk and decision you took… so!

4. How do you cope working virtually every weekend, managing your time and schedule?

Time management is one of the essential qualities every MC must possess. Many times I work on weekends (weddings and birthdays) but sometimes times I get to work on weekdays too (Corporate events). On my free days.

5. Is being an MC a burden or a blessing or a bit of both?

Being a professional MC is absolutely a blessing for all who recognizes it. This is because we get to meet different people almost every week and this alone provides us an opportunity to network with a lot of people including those who matter in the society.
So far I have not been able to identify a major disadvantage of being an emcee and my mentors have not told me any too.

6. What challenges have you had to tackle as a professional at your job?

First is to make people understand that a Pro MC is not the same as a comedian. Many out there confuse an emcee with a standup comedian. You necessarily don’t have to be able to tell jokes before you can successfully be a pro MC. Although you must have a good sense of humor to succeed.

Me: which similarly looks like comedy. What I have noticed is that there is comedy in everything that we do. But now I kinda get your point and am sure my readers are aware of the differences now.

7. In your opinion, what is the most difficult part in your line of business?

Having to read voraciously to be current is one. The other is the ability to stay abreast of situations and be on top of everything that presents itself either at events or behind the scenes

8. What’s the weirdest thing a client/follower has ever told you?

I don’t think that weird moment has come…

9. Your confidence is so bold, especially when you handle the mic, do you sometimes have the fear of stage

Stage fright? No I conquered that long time ago. I have always been a stage boy from my primary school days when we danced on stage and acted plays at the schools functions. In my secondary school days, I was in drama and cultural troupe. So when I decided to grace the stage as an emcee, it wasn’t an issue.

10. Which other professional are you looking forward to working with or have something coming out with?

I would love to work with a lot of people – Ik Osakioduwa, Gbemileke Oyisan, Teju Babyface and many more.

Me: these guys are great MC legends. You got good taste!

11. If you had a chance to work with one person in the world, who would it be?

As a professional MC, you can be paired to work with anyone and whoever it is, you must display absolute professionalism but nothing beats when you share the stage with your mentors and role models.

12. What are your top 3 points in your note or pad that you always reflect on?

Never let them see you sweat
Irrespective of where you find yourself, Give your best always

13. Aside the unemployment nature of the country, what drove you to become an MC?

Well for me, the choice to be an MC was more of wanting to pursue my passion than being unemployed. I resigned my job as a telecoms specialist after 5years to focus on being a full time professional MC.

14. What are some things that you would like to accomplish but not in view yet in your profession?

There a quite a lot but top on the list is to anchor destination weddings

15. What advice would you give to unmotivated and non- inspired people around the world. Please explain???

God has equipped everyone with a special ability and talent embedded inside us. We need to further dig deep to discover these gifts and use them solve the problems around us.

16. What’s next for MC Ayulah?
For now, the focus is to get better at the craft and probably explore new terrain and opportunities.

Thank you so much for your time. We wish you the best of all your heart desires and endeavours.

Determine Your Heart’s Desire

Beauty happy girl with Valentine gift box.In his book “The Importance of Discovering Your Hearts Desire”, Emmet Fox wrote What is your heart’s desire? What is it that, deep down in your heart, more than anything else, you would like to be, have, or do in life? A s a friend of mine asks, “What do you want to be famous for?”

What words would you like people to use to describe you when you are not there? When you gone, what will you like people to say at your funeral? How would you want your family, friends, and children to remember you? How would you like people to talk to them about you?

What kind of a reputation do you have today? What kind of a reputation would you like to have sometime in the future? What would you have to begin doing today in order to create the kind of reputation that you desire?

Part 1: Why Most Christians Are Broke?

By: Dipo Adesina

One thing I like about this motivator, he never hides the truth. What is suppose to be said that most of our churches and pastors neglect is the way we use Christianity as the fastest ticket to wealth. Well I don’t want to roam in circles, watch the video and be blessed.

Repost: Do You Hate Your Job?

How much of us can sincerely say: “I love my work and I enjoy to wake up every morning because it makes me happy.”

Suit and Tie

Hard times, the age of recession makes us more materialists than we wish to be. Once upon a time, we could say that we are poor and happy, but nowadays we will say that we cannot pay bills with a hug.

Why we keep a job which we don’t like? This is kind of debt slavery. We need money to survive and it is hard to find the well-paid job and keep the smile on face. Your instinct for survival will simply forget dream job and turn into reality your wishes. If not, your bank will remind you that you must get up from the cloud and stand on the ground.

I remember back then at my former place of work. The country was in recession so everyone tried as much as possible to work hard to avoid been fired. Even when the work is so tidious and the management are not well organized we just have to work to get paid. I did a survey amongst my colleagues, to my surprise half of them don’t like the job. But what can they do.. The only means was if there was another job available but there wasn’t.

Patty Hearst was the granddaughter of rich man Randolph Hearst. She was kidnapped in February 1974, when she was 19, by an urban guerrilla group called SLA. It had happened in California. Two months later she announced that she joined this group voluntary and that her name is now Tanya. She connected with her captors and build sympathy towards them. This psychological phenomenon is called Stockholm syndrome, as a form of traumatic bonding between victim and captor. She simply started to believe in the same values as her aggressor.

Nowadays some people are captured by debt slavery. Our bosses will convince us that this work is our future, a safe shelter and only chance to survive. So, employers start to build a habit, even they have no good treatment at work. We will handle any kind of mobbing just to pay our bills. Even if you sue for a mobbing, your chances are not great, probably you will look for a new job and new bosses will not wait for you with a hug, you will be considered as the problematic employer.

A young girl can work in the kitchen and her boss chef can do sexual harassment but she will not report him because she needs money. During the time, she accepted that situation as normal and she is grateful because she is employed.

Workers became donkeys, they will approve paddles as tools of discipline. Their thinking is, that they don’t deserve better or that they are not able to find a better job.

This is an example of a situation which really happened at work. The boss was a woman, and she was kind of female dictator. She was moody and her secretary was the man. He had family and big debts. This boss had a habit to underestimate him, he was her punching bag. Once she throws on the floor about 100 files. Then she ordered him to pick up all files, and he did that. In other situation, she ordered him to carry her bag and walk behind her. He never complained in public even everybody at work knew that she is abusing him. An opposite, on the business meeting he said that his boss is so clever that she could sell ice to Eskimo.

The worst kind of problem appears when we give up. Then, we are perfect material for shape and manipulations. Patty Hearst was robbing banks, and later she was caught and she spent some time in prison. Captors washed her brain.

Some people think that they have no right to ask better for themselves, so they accept to be some kind of slaves. They can be so dangerous that they will snitch if the boss asks them to do it, they will report other people and play double roles. That is why friendship at the workplace is a sensitive area. You never know what kind of snake you are sharing your office.

If you hate your job, you have a few choices:

Try to squeeze teeth until the retirement and handle all with a smile.

Try to find a new job, so you will maybe go to the expert exam or additional education.

Try to find a rich husband or wife to help you with your choice, to do what you like.

Try to make money with your hobby, and have on your mind that only rarely make a success with this.

Even if you make a success and if you are promoted, have this on your mind:

Say goodbye to your free time onweekends, you might work overtime and maybe your cell phone will ring all day.

You will have problems with insomnia and digestion, cause a big responsibility asks good nerves.

Your private life will suffer, maybe your spouse will not have understanding for your absence.

If you are a good example of a person who can handle a job and a private life in a healthy balance, write here how you do it…

Human Sex Dolls/Robots: Genius Or Stupidity?

The first time i got to hear about the human sex doll was when it was really trending on twitter. I was shocked, like why this again.  God gave us the wisdom and knowledge doesn’t mean we should use it for irrelevant things.  Am sure if you ask some peeps if it was a cool idea, their answers will be a big yes.  But do they know the negative side effects aside the spiritual aspect.

Most men will use this as an excuse not to satisfy their spouses on bed, because they will be more fantasize with the doll than their wives. Even if one is single, it gives an increase of fornication and irrelevant sex fantasy. It is just barbaric to think a doll will replace the beauty and natural anatomy of a woman.

The bedroom is a new battleground for the looming struggle between robotics and humans as a sex robot industry raises important ethical, moral and behavioral dilemmas.

According to WikiTribune, The rise of sex dolls or robot may cure sexual dysfunction and unlock new sexual possibilities. But there could be a dark side: an acceptance of sexual violence and even greater objectification of women as a result of dolls as sexualized, subordinate, playthings.

The pursuit of connection, stimulation and pleasure in our increasingly disconnected society can be complicated. We’re in a civilization that has built the means for sexting, dating apps, online porn and sex dolls. Now, sex robots are predicted to be the future.

Another source from Silicon Wives also wrote on “why do men buy sex dolls? ”

Why do men like sex dolls? Why do they spend thousands of dollars on lifelike silicone dolls instead of pursuing real women?

Below are quotes from real sex doll owners on why they bought a sex doll.  Source:

Top 3 Reasons:

  1. For a better sex life.
  2. For companionship, and to fight loneliness.
  3. To satisfy a specific doll fetish.

Quotes from Doll Owners:

“For me, I’m just tired of being alone. Already been there my whole life, don’t want to live out the rest of my life that way too. I figure a fake girl is better than no girl at all. Aside from that, any girl I could realistically be with wouldn’t look nearly as good as some of the dolls folks are selling out there.”

“I just got tired of being alone. Most of the women I went out with got pissed when race season got here and I went to work on race cars on most weekends. And I don’t want all the head games that real women bring with them.”

“It seems that the entire dating/marriage concept has become sort of a death-trap for males. No matter how you try to play it, she will always hold all of the cards and will most likely use them at some point.

Dolls are a good sensible alternative. They meet my needs well enough for the arrangement to be sustainable.”

I was married for 25 years, most of the last ten years were unhappy, now that I’m single again the last thing I want is a (real) relationship. Dolls don’t complain, there always there, never have a headache. dolls win.

“I started with a latex balloon fetish in my youth. It expanded into inflatable dolls then silicone dolls.
The dolls are not a substitute for a relationship, they are just for a kind of fantasy.”

Never had a girlfriend, tried online dating for years with zero success. I had reached a point in my life, where I thought the same as you. Having a doll is better than having no female presence in my life at all.

My social life is almost nonexistent… Working at night and sleeping until the crack of noon with enough time to eat, get a small work out in and shower after, then head to work… No time to look for a relationship, tried online dating to no avail, and some major trust issues(from very bad experiences) have lead me to wanting a doll”

“To capture the beauty of female expression in photographs. I have always admired what some have done with their photography of them.”

“Playing w/ my GI Joe, Stretch Armstrong and so on were fun as a kid, but THE REAL FUN started when my cousin asked me to play w/ her & barbies ( I had Ken ) …. Ken got naughty w/ the Barbies when she was away!”

With dolls, I can be myself. I don’t have to put up a façade to trick them into wanting to be with me (which I was never particularly good at anyway). They’re always there for me, they don’t judge me, don’t pressure me to change into what they expect me to be. Granted, they’re no substitute for real human interaction, but I have my friends and family for that.”

“I have always wanted some type of sex doll ever since I was a kid. I use to buy Barbie dolls and then make them anatomically correct. I have a collection now. Went through a phase of inflatables but always desired something more real.”

“I just got tired of walking into an empty house after a stressful day at work. All I have to do is see my doll smiling in the corner and know everything is going to be ok. I know my house is still empty but at least with my dolls here it does not feel empty.”

“I’m married, but get way less sex than I’d like. Doll sex not only makes up the difference, it satisfies many itches that married sex won’t: Sex acts the wife doesn’t do with me and some I’d be afraid or embarrassed to even ask for.”

My fascination with beautiful realistic mannequins, women’s fashion, futuristic movies about androids, and the fleshlight led me to this.”

“Not sure, I’m a good looking guy, and can pick up girls with no problem.
I think its all in the fantasy, I was always into anime and i guess it grew from their. most my dolls are Asian or have the anime look to them.”

I wanted a companion. That I can hug into sleep. Or not feel lonely when I play computer games. I find her too cute. The elf model that I have bought.”

“I bought my first doll (an inflatable) to “practice” with since I had issues with lasting power in bed. When I got comfortable enough with that (it took about four years) I actually didn’t really meet anyone who I wanted to get involved in, and living on the west coast you never know what kinda disease somebody could be carrying around. Dolls have the advantage of being clean and available, so they become a natural progression step.”

“I basically just wanted a girlfriend that could deal with my disability and wasn’t fat. After years of trying and endless rejection, I decided to get a doll.

This is just sad. God is so merciful!  Reading all these sources from from men, married and single is just too sad.  As i earlier said to fantasize, with these most homes will be recked, arguments, fights and all.

Please i will love you guys to comment on this trending topic of discussion. Is this going solve any issue in our society today or destroy?

Lord Jesus have mercy on us.
