Trust Me When I Say God Always Has A Plan

Trust me when I say God knows what he’s doing. Even if you’re confused and you don’t know how you’re going to move forward or where you’re going to go, he will always open a new door for you. An unexpected door. A door that could lead you to a kind of happiness you never imagined. A door that puts an end to the hard days.

Trust me when I say God doesn’t take things away without giving you something better. God knows when something has served its purpose even if you can’t see it. God knows when things should end even if you’re not ready. God is planning what’s next for you because he knows that you need a change. He knows that he’s taking you to a better destination or guiding you to a more fulfilling life.

Trust me when I say God hears your prayers. He’s listening to you and he’s giving you exactly what you want but in his own way. Maybe his way is different from yours but his way is always the right way. When you ask for happiness and you find yourself drifting away from the people you love, he’s telling you that these are not the people to surround yourself with because they drain you. When you ask for peace and you lose your job, he’s telling you that your future is better somewhere else. When you ask for love and he gives you heartbreak, he’s telling you that you need to make a better choice. He’s telling you you’re loving the wrong people. He’s always answering your questions, you just need to trust his answers.

Trust me when I say God is looking out for you. It may not be easy to see at times and it might be impossible to understand why things happen the way they do but one thing I know for sure is that God won’t leave you alone in the dark. He will guide you. He will inspire you. He will rearrange things in your life so you can change your life. 

Trust me when I say God wants you to count on him. He wants you to learn that people are unpredictable and they change their minds every second. He wants you to know that nothing in life is secure or complete. He wants you to know that there will be times when you’ll just have to count on your faith instead of your logic. He wants you to go through enough problems so you can have enough wisdom to know that he’s the only constant in this life and he’s the only one who can truly heal you.

Trust me when I say God always has a plan for you and that plan always includes what’s best for you.

Dear God, I’m Ready For My Miracle

I’m ready to pass the test. I’m ready for the final result. I’m ready to close the chapter of pain and loss. I’m ready to heal from my past heartbreak. I’m ready to close that door forever. I’m ready to put an end to the stormy days and the lonely nights. I’m ready for you to reveal to me the reasons behind my struggles. I’m ready for the blessings that you’ve kept me waiting for. I’m ready for the blessings that follow every hardship.

I’m ready to accept your blessings. I now feel like I deserve them. I now have faith in you and your plans. I will be able to cherish the blessings you bring me. I will be able to appreciate the little things and be grateful for them because I know how hard it was to get them. I know how hard it was without them. I’ve learned not to take your blessings for granted.

I’m ready for your miracle because I think I learned my lessons. I think I’m becoming the person you wanted me to become. I think I’m closer to you more than ever now. I know you’re my healer. I only run to you when I’m confused. I only talk to you when I’m sad. I’m ready for your miracle because I know you heard me and my prayers. I know you want to see me happy and I know you want what’s best for me and I’m ready for it. I’m the best version of myself these days and I am prepared to receive your best gifts.

I know this is my year. I know this is my time. I know this is the part of my story where everything changes for the better. I know this is the part of my story that takes me to a whole new universe.

Because you and I both know how hard the journey has been, how hard the past few years have been and how tired I am. We both know that I tried it all, fell down and got back up. We both know that things haven’t been easy or smooth. We both know that I almost gave up on myself and my life and we both know that I’ve used up all my energy and my strength to fight back and rise again. We both know that I only have very little left in me to fight or try again. We both know that anything more than that will be more than I can handle so this is where I leave it all up to you.

This is where I surrender to your power. This is where I sit back as you fight my battles. This is where I raise my hands and tell you that I’ve done my part and I can’t do this on my own anymore.

And I think, I believe , this is where you tell me that I’ve seen enough and dealt with enough and passed all your difficult tests so here’s my reward. Here’s my miracle. Here’s the blessings that will take all the pain away. Here’s the magic that happens when you have faith in me and allow me to finish your story. It’s always better than the one you had in mind. I’m full of beautiful surprises and I’m ready to unfold them to you one by one.

To everyone waiting and patient to recieve their breakthrough, I say to you today, your breakthrough is here already. Open your hearts and recieve it by faith!

The Trust Of A Child Has No Boundaries

I’ll sometimes pause to observe student behavior at work to see how they react in a certain situation or atmosphere. One thing about children is that they trust those who are responsible for them without any boundaries. They love without any limitations and often understand it better than adults. If a teacher tells or asks a child to do something, they usually respond in hopes of pleasing the adult. It is also pretty clear to see this begin to fade away as children become older and start learning negative behaviors from allowing the world to be their teacher.

Luke 18:17 says, “Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” Assuredly is defined as “without a doubt.” Therefore, without a doubt we should receive the kingdom of God and follow His ways as a child follows the ways of their caretaker. We often see that children are a reflection of what they have learned or been exposed to throughout their childhood. We all had a caretaker in our lives that helped develop who we have become today. Whether it was positive or negative, they provided an image of what integrity, character, respect, and other behavioral actions looked like.

These people are special in our lives but there is another caretaker that provides a perfect example of how we should live this life on Earth. Jesus shows us how to live a life that is pleasing to Him and provides a purposeful life. All we have to do is turn to Him and approach him with childlike faith that trusts Him without any boundaries. It may not always look how we envision it, but it looks just like He envisions it, which is far more life giving than we can give ourselves.

Challenge: Let’s all work towards letting go of our way and grabbing hold of God’s way. This is our excuse to be a child again; to receive the blessing of God.

Expectancy Is Not Pride, But Faith That God Is Who He Says He is!


Have you ever felt like it’s arrogant to ask God to do things when you pray to Him? For example, maybe you have thought that you can’t ask Him to heal you when there are so many others who need healing? As if His power to heal is limited. Or maybe you want to pray for someone else to be healed, or receive provision, but you feel like you don’t have the authority to request such things from God. You may even feel like your bothering Him and wasting His time. I have felt like this often, and because of that I have often prayed very safe prayers. I would not say prayers expecting God to actually perform miracles, and I would tell myself it was because I was being humble. Truthfully, it was because I didn’t believe that He would actually do the things I was asking Him to do. I was not approaching Him with the expectancy that He was fully able and willing to give good gifts to His children for the glory of His name.
After being confronted with an idea from some other believers that God actually wants us to pray and act as if we are expecting miracles and breakthrough, I decided to go to His word and see what it had to say on the matter. I found myself reading one of my favorite stories in the bible. It’s the story in Mark 2 where a group of men have a friend who is paralyzed. They want to get their friend to Jesus to be healed, but Jesus is teaching in a house and there are too many people in their way to get to Him. Since they cannot carry their friend through the crowd, they decide to take another route. These men cut out a hole in the roof of the house, and lower their friend to Jesus. The word says that when Jesus saw their faith, He said to the Paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”

That man picked up his mat and walked out of that place fully healed, because his friends had the audacity to believe that Jesus is who He said He is. They believed it so strongly that this group of men knew that if they got their friend to Jesus, their friend would be healed. They acted in persistence in accordance with that belief. What’s amazing is that Jesus didn’t look up through the roof and say, “What in the world are you guys doing! Can’t you see that I’m teaching here? Are you trying to twist the arm of God? What makes you think I would heal your friend before everyone else here who needs healing? How arrogant of you!”
Yet, this is how I found myself praying, as if I was expecting such a response. I would pray as if God was angry and annoyed with me approaching His throne. The truth is that the Kingdom of God is at hand! God is an amazing, loving Father that longs to bring heaven to earth. Because I am washed by the blood of Jesus, I now have full access to Him. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead now dwells in me. And it is not my Father’s will for people to walk around broken and hurting. It is my Father’s will to usher His children back into the kingdom. It’s His will to heal, restore, and poor out His love in ways that are beyond our human comprehension.

This is true for every single person who has been washed by the blood of Christ. As He is, so are we in this world! You have the Spirit of the living God dwelling inside of you, which is utterly amazing! But the real question is, what are to doing with it? Are you reaching out to others with expectancy? Are you acting as if you know full well that God longs to heal, restore, and pour out His love on people through you, so that He can bring them home into a loving relationship with Himself?
What roof do you need to cut a hole into today? What is that thing in our life that you have been looking at and saying, “The line is too long. There is no way I can get to Jesus. I don’t want to bother Him.” If you truly believe that He is who He says He is and will do what He says He can do, your expectancy will carry you up on the roof and you will gladly cut out a hole to get to Him. Expectancy is not pride. It’s faith that God is who He says He is!

Finding The Why When I Face Failure

How do you find the courage to persevere in the face of failure? I’ve discovered the secret to perseverance in “Finding My Why”…

Do you want to know the secret to deepening your relationship with God? What if I told you that the secret was failure? I have failed. I have failed more than a dozen exams, a handful of classes, and various projects. I’ve failed as a student. I have let people down as a leader. I have failed my friends and family. And I have failed more times than I can count. But, here I am. I am still alive and persevering. I have learned, grown, and seasoned on this audacious adventure.

If I’m serious about the matter, when God made it clear what my path was in life, I had no clue what it would take out of me.

As a young boy, I was naive and optimistic, driven by a passion and zeal for God at some point. Years later, I am far less naive, cautiously optimistic, and driven by… love for God. As the years’ pass, passion and zeal give way to a stalwart love; A love that is solid in its foundation – you’d have an easier time moving a mountain.

As I reflect on the past years of my walk, I look back at the decisions I’ve made, and I see a lot of decisions for God – sprinkled with some foolish decisions that were against God. This was the path to “Finding My Why”, finding out why I put myself through this, why I subject myself to consistent and un-relinquishing failure. Finding My Why is the best thing that ever happened to me because it made me decide; every failure led to a feeling of emptiness inside of me, and a choice. The choice was simple, what do you want to fill that void with? Do you choose to fill it with God, or do you choose it with superficial things – music, food, beer?

I wish I could say that I chose to worship God in that moment, but I didn’t.

Instead, I chose to leave town to attend and help with a wedding, hoping to find happiness. I came home exhausted and depressed. That was a valuable (and painful) learning experience, and yet to this day, I have not fully learned this lesson. Men are stubborn and prideful like that. Your “Why?” is found when you realize everything you do in this life is to serve God’s master plan. A plan which stretches for thousands of years. Through this daunting trial of life, we constantly have choices. Choices that amount to nearly every problem and every solution in this world. What will you do when you feel empty? Will you pursue God and fill your void with his presence, or will you fill it with other superfluous pleasures?

Every day, people choose to fill their void with the world.

Look at the way our world works; people mend breakups by going out and “rebounds”. Rather than dealing with father issues, young men assert their masculinity by breaking the hearts of women. To cope with the void, young women everywhere turn to social media for a bit of temporary affirmation. If this is hitting close to home, I’m sorry. Just kidding, I’m not sorry about that. Just know that you are a great person and that the love and grace that God has for you is so much larger, even better than the notebook (which I’ve never seen). No man, woman, or item can ever fill that pit.

It is in these difficult times in life that you find your why.

When you have to look deep within yourself, when you want to quit, when you feel inadequate, when you give everything, yet you fail. You still choose to listen to worship music, watch a sermon, and read your bible. If you are going through this right now, you are in the process of finding your why. Your why could be spiritual, it could be for your family, it could be the community you serve. Failure is not necessarily a sign that your anointing has left you, it could be a sign that your anointing is upon you. Find your why, dig deep, press into God, and push forward. I leave you with a quote from Teddy Roosevelt, who said it best in a speech he gave called “The Man In The Arena

“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

When God Interrupts Your Plans

Last week, during my morning commute, I was listening to the one of my favorite radio stations. A woman (let’s call her Jane) called in to share about an experience she recently had.

She began by stating how she woke up late for work and was rushing to get ready. Already 20 minutes late, she was driving down the highway and saw a man on the side of the road. She felt led to pull over, so she did. The man asked to use her phone so he could make a call. Jane hesitantly gave him her cell phone and he proceeded to call 911. As she continued to listen she realized he was calling to report a suicide…his own.

She sat there in disbelief as he communicated with the operator. After he hung up, she sat and prayed with him until an ambulance came. Long story short – he did not commit suicide that day.

This story struck me in a powerful way. Jane being late for work allowed her path to cross with a man who needed to hear about God’s grace and forgiveness.

It’s easy to get wrapped up in the life we’ve been given that we forget to tune into the One who gave it to us. We’re so busy, so distracted, that we don’t realize when God is trying to re-direct our attention.

We must be willing to let God interrupt our schedules and change our plans as he sees fit.

It’s easy to get bent out of shape when things don’t go as planned (I’ll be the first to admit that I do at times). But maybe, just maybe things are going according to plan – just not our plan. I have had an experience where I only told someone that you beautiful, you don’t need to worry, God is under control. She changed her broken face to a shining face. Even just a smile to someone can help that person change his/her from committing suicide.

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand. – Proverbs 19:21

What if, instead of being so focused on ourselves, and militant about our schedules and to-do lists, we surrendered our time to God? What if we asked him to help us be more aware of opportunities to share the truth and show the love of Christ? What if we prioritized obeying the promptings of the Holy Spirit regardless of our own preferences and insecurities?

Jane’s alarm didn’t go off that morning for a divine reason – God wanted to use her to save a life. And you know what? He wants to use us in the same way.

Everyday God gifts each of us with opportunities to share His love, grace, and truth with those we come in contact with – but do you notice it? Many times we are too focused on our inconvenience rather than His purpose.

Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” – John 10:2

Let us be a people who don’t merely hear, but do (James 1:22-25). Who follow Christ’s example, laying down our own preferences for the will of our Father in Heaven so that we may show others the love, grace, and truth found only in Jesus Christ.

It Isn’t Your Job To Play Someone Else’s God

If you’ve never asked yourself the following question(s), now may be a pretty solid time to do so:

How much of who I am, what I do, and what I choose is based on what I believe is “supposed to be”? What I think “society” expects? What I think my family expects? Therefore, what I have to do to feel accepted by people who should inherently accept me unconditionally? How much of what I do is only because “that’s just what you do”?

In trusting that the overarching, withstanding powers-that-be are all-knowing, benevolent, and righteous, we’ve tuned out of hearing ourselves.

Or, more accurately, we are anxious and stressed and lost because we do hear ourselves, but we refuse to align our actions with what we really want.

So while we enforce these rules on ourselves, ones that other people made up and we just had to blindly adopt because we were never told to think otherwise, we end up policing others into doing the same. And in an effort to remain part of the group, to be safely accepted (we’re survivalist animals, after all) we allow those pressures to perpetuate our disingenuous beliefs.

It’s not your job to decide whether or not someone else is worthy of your respect.

It is not your job to decide what’s right for someone else, and it’s not your job to judge them based on what you perceive to be wrong for your experience. You can only choose whether or not you are going to allow that presence and energy in your life. And we allow mostly by dwelling.

How often do we sit and toil through all the things that the people we know are doing wrong, how often do we decide they’re on the wrong path, even though for all we know, the right path is the hard one; the difficult choices the most important. We spend too much time deciding whether or not we’re going to respect the people we inherently don’t harmonize with, and not enough time knowing the grace of walking away.

There are few people you ever really get to genuinely know. Most people are lost in a shuffle of actions and intentions that are not their own. They’re shut off because they’re scared and they’re closed because they’re vulnerable. People act for reasons you cannot fathom; not unless you were in that exact situation, in those same circumstances, having the background and mind and body and spirit of that very person.

It’s not your job to assume things of others based on what you can only truly understand of yourself.

The things that resonate most strongly with you about others are what you identify most in yourself. Everything you feel and see and understand and contemplate and judge is a direct reflection of you. Your entire reality is an illusion of which you are the centre of control. Everything is a matter of your projections.

It is not your job to speak outwardly, negatively, disagreeably, with the things that seem to you to be “wrong.” It is your job to question your beliefs again and again until you find the soundest, firmest, strongest compulsions within you, and then from those, you derive love and logic and understanding and you grow those into forces that encourage other people to do the same.

It is not your job to follow the tide. It’s your job to float on it, not swim with it. You don’t need to go to school, there are dozens of ways to get educated. Most people will tell you: the majority of their college classes could have been accomplished as easily by them going to their local library and reading. Not to get a passing grade. But to understand. You don’t have to get married, you don’t have to have children. You don’t have to settle. You don’t have to travel. You don’t have to read. You don’t have to do anything you don’t feel compelled to.

It is not your job to try to change that which you dislike about the world. It’s your job to change what you dislike about yourself. Fighting the bad makes it bigger.

You don’t owe yourself to the things you left behind. You don’t have to worry about the people who don’t worry about you. You don’t have to be fighting an upward battle to have a life that has meaning. You aren’t worthier for having suffered.

It is not your job to try to save the world without saving yourself first. There is nothing you can actively change but who you are. There is no more important or noble task than to do so.

Because everything else is a deflection from it.

Living For God Means Freedom For Me

I want to glorify God whether I’m running errands, staying at home by myself or writing. I want my life to be all about God and focused on Him. When it is, I know what I can do and what I can’t, and I don’t have to be able to do it all. I’m secure in who I am in Christ and not threatened by others who can do things I can’t do. And I don’t have to know everything and have all the answers to be okay.

I’m also free to have limits and say no when I need to say no because it’s not about pleasing people but being obedient to God. And serving God makes me a better servant of others. I can really love people when I’m not thinking about myself or wondering about what they’re thinking about me.

You don’t have to be like everybody else or do things like everybody else. God created you to be a unique individual and He wants you to be free to be who He made you to be. Keep your heart and mind on Him, and whatever you do, do it for Him.

A life of freedom is a life that’s all about Him!

Trust God and Step Out In Faith. Embrace change!!!

Screwed up like a ball
Protected by a covering
Afraid to share at all
Wound up by fear of change
A person can survive
Sitting on the outside
Looking at the beauty
Of what He’s doing today.

What’s the use of change
It only brings you problems
I’m perfect as I am
I do my best by Him
But there is something more
A loving kind of future
If only I would trust
And let dear Jesus in.

Oh peel away these layers

Silent Words Are Useless

I’ve got my opinions as any other;
Hopefully, I’ll be clear and you’ll understand that our silent words are useless –

For the trees will willingly clap their hands.

The one true God spoke into existence
the birds, fishes, plants, mammals, Earth and all forms of life including . . .
Humble beginnings of Mankind’s birth.

The sound of our individual voices
is something that God covets and enjoys;

He wants our unadulterated praise verbalized with heartfelt, cheerful, and celebratory noise.

Our real outward expressions of faith
for acknowledging His holy ways
can only be accomplished via . . .
Sincere, loving and audible praise.

So open your mouth during Church worship and praise Him without doubt!
For your silent words are useless –
Causing even the rocks . . . to cry out.

Ways You Need To Revolve To God When You’re Far From Him

Sometimes God gives us hardships so we can turn to him and get closer to him; sometimes he just wants to remind us that life is fleeting but he is eternal and that is why we should always go back to him.

I remembered when I was wandering in the wilderness, it was not a funny experience. I disciplined myself to fast, pray and read inspirational books. I learnt that I am nothing without God, I can’t do anything without Him. Putting God in everything I do as turned things around in my life. Both the ones have seen and experienced, and the ones am still expectant of.

Beneath are some ways to revolve back to Him..

1. When you’re heartbroken. Ask him to heal you, ask him to help you repair yourself again, ask him to give the strength to move on, the wisdom to understand, the grace to forgive and the courage to try again. Because he’s the only who knows your heart and he is the only one who knows how to mend it.

2. When you’re confused about life. Ask him to guide you, ask him to help you find the way, ask him for a map, ask him to lead you because he is the only one who can, because he is the only one who really knows where you’re going and he is the only one who has the fuel to keep you moving.

3. When you don’t feel like you’re good enough. Ask him why you’re still here, ask him if you’re special, and ask him for reassurance, confidence and faith . Ask him because he wants to let you know how special you are, ask him because he knows your day is coming soon and ask him because he will bring it to you sooner than you think.

4. When you’re lonely. Talk to him, tell him your problems, cry to him, tell him to stay by your side, tell him you need him and tell him to tuck you in bed and help you sleep. Talk to him even if you’re not saying a word because he is listening to your silence and he is watching your tears and he will make you smile again.

5. When you’re scared. Tell him to give you courage, tell him to take the fear away, tell him to silence the voices in your head, tell him that you’re afraid but you’re willing to take the risk and ask him for strength to handle the consequences. Tell him to make you fearless because he knows you have it in you and he knows how to bring it out.

6. When you’re tired of failing. Ask him to give you peace of mind, ask him to give you the faith you need to trust him and trust that this is all for a reason, that he is putting you through this for a bigger and better purpose and that he is not going to let you down. Ask him for patience to wait for the answers.

7. When you’re not sure if he’s listening. Ask him to remember you, ask him to give you reassurance, ask him for a sign and ask him for a miracle, because he wants you to believe in miracles and he wants you to witness them.

8. When you’re giving up. Ask him to give you hope, ask him to let you see the light at the end of the tunnel, ask him for the silver lining and ask him to give you power to keep fighting your battles until you win the war. Because he wants to see you win and he wants you to be victorious.

9. When you’ve lost someone you loved. Get closer to him, it’s okay to question why this happened to you but ask him to be your friend, ask him to be there for you, ask him for the reason he took something you loved away and then trust him; trust his plan and trust his timing, trust that he will replace what you’ve lost with something even bigger and better and something that never even crossed your mind.

10. When people are making fun of your dreams. Tell him that you think this is your calling, that this is your passion, and that this is what makes you feel alive. Ask him to make it happen, to make it easier, to make it less cruel and ask him to cover your ears from all those who are laughing at you, because he wants to make your dreams come true but he wants to make sure that you’re up for the challenge and that you will fight for them.

Dust And Destiny: A Reminder That We’re Here Is No Accident.

God formed the first man
From the dust,
As an earthen vessel of clay,
Then blew in his nostrils
The breath of life,
His image to set on display.

As a Master Artist
Shows his passion for life,
On canvas, gold, silver or stone,
So the Lord demonstrated
His wisdom and love,
By not leaving His vessel alone.

The Maker gazed
At earth, water and sky,
At all living things He had created,
But of all the great creatures
That He had made,
In mankind He was pleased and elated.

Some say we are here
By random chance,
Without purpose or reason or rhyme,
But I know the Lord God
Fashioned my life,
Long before the beginning of time.

So you can choose
To think that life,
Is a product of happenstance,
But I will choose
To believe in the God,
Of new life and second chance.

Stay Calm

As Christians, we follow the plan and blue prints of God for our life so that we can fulfill destiny but because He has said it doesn’t mean things wouldn’t go wrong. A lot of times because we get revelation from God we believe everything has to go smoothly; this is not true but irrespective of what happens, be assured that whatever God said will eventually come to pass.
